Lloyd received his bachelor’s degree from Southwestern Assembly of God University in Waxahachie, Texas in 1990. He went on to earn his master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty, University in Lynchburg, Virginia. He also earned a certificate in Autism from the University of Massachusetts of Lowell in Lowell, Massachusetts. In December of 2016, he earned his doctoral degree in education from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He has worked with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities in a variety of settings including school districts, clinics, and home settings through the practice of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) since 2009. He has earned his BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analysis) certification, and his licenses from the State of Louisiana as a Licensed Behavior Analysis (LBA), and Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S). He has experience in creating and implementing behavior change and counseling. He has served on the Louisiana Behavior Analyst Board since being appointed by the governor in August 2017. He is now serving as the board chair.
