With a background as a retired public school elementary teacher, and administrator, Tricia has always dedicated her career to the education and well-being of children and adolescents. She has transitioned into the field of counseling as a trained EMDR therapist, by specializing in supporting people in their journey of healing, whether that’s from trauma or other life stressors.  Tricia’s background in education helps her create an approach to counseling where she can prioritize creating a safe and supportive environment for clients of all ages to explore their feelings and develop strong coping skills. Tricia believes in tailoring individual sessions so the needs and preferences of every client can be met. Using her experience in the classroom, and in sessions, she incorporates a variety of modalities into her sessions, such as: art, music, games, and meditation. She uses all of these to create a personalized therapeutic experience. Tricia is committed to empowering clients to navigate life’s challenges with strength and resilience. Back to view staff
