With a background as a retired public school elementary teacher and administrator, Tricia has dedicated her career to the education and well-being of children and adolescents. She has transitioned into the field of counseling as a trained EMDR therapist who supports individuals of all ages in their journey of healing, whether from trauma or other life stressors.

Tricia specializes in working with children, teens, and young adults, helping them navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, body image concerns, aggression, withdrawal, and declining school performance. She also provides support to children coping with the emotional impact of separation and divorce.

Tricia creates a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their emotions and develop strong coping skills. She tailors each session to meet the unique needs and preferences of every client.

Tricia utilizes Play Therapy with younger clients and incorporates Art Therapy for those who are interested. She prioritizes open communication with parents of clients under 18, recognizing the importance of collaboration in supporting a child’s mental health.

Tricia is committed to empowering clients to build resilience and navigate life’s challenges with confidence.
