Maria is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in the state of Louisiana. Maria graduated from University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and began working on her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Maria joined the ABA field as a line technician in March of 2018. She fell in love with the field and began taking ABA courses at Florida Institute of Technology. Maria graduated from Walden University with a master’s degree in counseling but continued to work in ABA. Maria was a Board Certified assistant Behavior Analyst for two years before becoming a BCBA in November of 2022.

Maria has served children with Autism and other Developmental Disabilities for over five years in the clinical setting; she has experience with children ranging from two to 21 years old. Maria is most passionate about promoting independence in the lives of the children she serves by teaching functional communication, life skills, social skills, and other valuable skills. In her free time, Maria loves to spend time with her husband and two children, read, and travel.
